A week-long celebration of learning for everyone in Cork.
Each year, the festival offers hundreds of free events — workshops, talks, walks, classes, performances, and more - across the city.
It’s all about trying something new: from arts and crafts to technology, languages, wellbeing, and sports - there's something for everybody!
The festival brings learning into everyday spaces like libraries, parks, and community centres.

Dates set for Cork's Lifelong Learning Celebrations in 2026
The dates for the 2026 festival are set as Wednesday 22nd of April - Wednesday 29th of April 2026 and we look forward to hosting a series of FREE learning events all over Cork City with something for everybody to enjoy.
We believe that celebrating learning should be fun and accessible to all and in keeping with our Festival motto we want to encourage everyone to
– Investigate, Participate, Celebrate.
We welcome a wide range of events in a wide variety of formats that celebrate lifelong learning and we are very excited to work with you on making the 2026 Corks Lifelong Learning Festival a remarkable week of learning events for Cork.

2025 Flipping book:
The 2026 flipping book will be in production in March 2026 when all event applications are finalised.
